A video explaining how you can solo the Vortex Pinnacle normal mode as a protection Paladin. The main reason for doing this instance is the second boss. He has a 1% chance to drop a rare mount. I do this in my tank spec and full tanking gear. I switch between might + seal of truth and kings + seal of insight, depening on the dmg i get. For thos of you who cant read the text or if the video is too fast for you here is the written description: You want to make sure- 1. Devotion aura is on 2. righteous fury is on you 3. you have your seal of choice 4. your blessing of choice you want to start the pull with HOR or avengers sheild. Then go straight in with a crusader strike (single target tanking) or a hammer of the righteous (AoE tanking) from there i like to use my judgement/consecration/holy wrath. (depending on how many mobs i am dealing with) Then back to my crusader strike/HoTR Then Jugde/cons/holy wrath ( whatever isnt on cooldown ) Then back to crusader strike/HoTR Now you will have 3 holy power. You can use it on sheild of the righteous or word of glory. (Only use WoG if you arent beig healed.) Then you start back from the beginning. With this rotation you should never be in a situation where you arent pressing anything. Also consider that i was fighting a training dummy and not using my survival cooldowns such as Ardent defender, Gift of the naaru ( dranei only ) and divine prot. Along with that you will also be popping avenging wrath for the lols. And finally hammer of wrath is another place filler when the target is at less than 20%
